The focus of this course is primarily on concepts of jewellery and how to
stimulate possibilities for making and communicating these ideas. This is
not a course about particular jewellery techniques, but rather a journey of
discovery using jewellery as muse. Making is, of course, fundamental to the
realisation of this journey, and the joy of making in all its manifestations
will be celebrated and supported where possible.  

Lin Cheung was born in Basingstoke, England, in 1971. She is a jewellery
artist living and working in London and is also a Senior Lecturer in
Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design,
