PIN - Associação de Joalharia Contemporânea

PIN is a non-profit cultural association, with an undefined time duration, whose aim is the promotion of Contemporary Jewellery, the exchange of information and experiences, and the development of theoretical and practical projects in the Arts, and especially in Jewellery.
In order to keep with its aims the association plans:

- To organize workshops, training-periods and other educational activities related to contemporary art and, in particular, contemporary jewellery;
- To organize conferences, debates, seminars, artistic residencies, exhibitions and other cultural activities both on a national and international scale;
- To promote events aimed at the creation of new publics for contemporary art and in particular contemporary jewellery;
- To promote partnerships and artistic and cultural exchange programmes, both on a national and international scale, and in particular within national and international cultural and artistic networks;
- To establish protocols with both public and private entities;
- To apply to financial programmes in the field of art and culture;
- To publish articles and books, magazines, phonograms, videos or other multimedia formats;
- To divulge the work of its associates, as well as to supply technical, evaluation and consulting support.
